When is the Parade this year?

The 2008 Spring Parade of Homes will run April 19 through April 27, and the 2008 Fall Parade of Homes will be open on October 11-12 and October 18-19.

Where can I get a Parade Book?

There will be a Parade Book inserted into each Gainesville Sun newspaper on opening day of the Parade. They are also available at any of the Parade Neighborhoods, and the BANCF Office. Floor plans, renderings, and features of the homes can also be viewed online here on opening day.   

Is there a cost to attend the homes?

Yes. Tickets for adults cost $5, with children 12 and under free. 

Where can I buy a ticket?

Tickets can be purchased at any Parade Neighborhood.

Is the ticket only good for one subdivision or one day?

No. The purchase of one ticket gives you unlimited access to all homes during open hours, for the entire length of the Parade.

Where do I have to start the Parade?

You can start at your choice of any of the Parade Neighborhoods. There is no kind of set schedule or route.

How do I know which neighborhoods are participating?

Participating neighborhoods can be found in the Parade Book or online here on opening day.

How can I find where those participating neighborhoods are located?

A locator map is included in the Parade Book and on the online showcase.

Are the homes in the Parade for sale?

Some homes in the Parade may be for sale, others may have been purchased prior to the Parade. You can contact the builder or developer to find out information on any particular home in which you have interest.

Where are the prices for the homes listed?

The prices for individual homes are not listed in the Parade Book or the Online Showcase, because there are many variables that contribute to the cost of a particular home. Contact the builder or developer to find out pricing information on any particular home.

Are all the homes in the Parade similar in price, size, and style?

No. The homes in the Parade represent the latest and most innovative building & land designs, and carry the personal touch of their builder. Homes previous Parades have started at just over 1,200 sq ft and extend to over 4,300 sq ft. The price range goes from $185,000 to over $977,000, so there is a lot of variety to be found.

I'm a builder. How can I put one of my homes in the Parade?

Only BANCF Builder Members may have a home in the Parade. Informational packets on how to submit a home are sent to all builders in the association about a year before the Parade in order to prepare for this great event. I remember a home that I liked from a Past Parade. Is there any way for me to see the floor plans & features from that home?

The Online Parade Archive begins with the Fall Parade of 2000 and contains all floor plans, renderings, and features from each Parade Home since then. If you would like information on a home in a Parade prior to 2000, contact us or call the BANCF Office at (352) 372-5649.
